- We are really pleased that we have been appointed to organize such an important event and that in May, hundreds of European journalists will gather in Zagreb, all in one place, to discuss the burning issues in journalism, among other things. It is important to emphasize that this will be another great opportunity for the Croatian Journalists' Association and the Croatian Journalists' Union - all during the Croatian EU presidency - to draw attention to the problems which journalists and the media are faced with in Croatia, states in a short joint statement by SNH's president Maja Sever and HND's president Hrvoje Zovko.
